🧱 What is this game?

This is a lane-based 2D tower defense strategy game, inspired by games like The Battle Cats and Counter:Side. You spawn units in real-time to defend your base and push back waves of enemy forces.

The project is built entirely using Godot Engine and uses free/placeholder assets during development. The core gameplay is fully functional and currently features:

  • Real-time unit spawning (melee & ranged)
  • Multiple enemy types and wave progression
  • Health bars, gold resource system, basic UI
  • Visual feedback like damage popups, camera shake
  • Game over screen with restart and quit options

📌 What's Next?

I’m actively looking to polish and expand this prototype by improving:

  1. Character and environment artwork
  2. Sound effects and background music
  3. More enemy types, animations, and stage variety
